Helen, Georgia is located in the Blue Ridge Mountains on the Chattahoochee River. There is a rich Cherokee Indian history, mixed with German heritage. The town itself, was once an abandon lumber camp. A group of business men brought it new life when they redesigned the town to mirror a Bavarian Village. Helen hosts many festivals throughout the year and they are a biker paradise. Helen hosted the Georgia State Hog Rally in 2009. The area boasts scenic rides with excellent restaurants to stop and grab a bite.
